Sean M. Freeland received his undergraduate degree from the College of Charleston in Charleston, SC. Sean then moved to East Tennessee where he attended law school at Lincoln Memorial University, Duncan School of Law in Knoxville, TN. Sean received both his law degree and a master’s degree in criminal justice in 2023.

Sean has since moved to Middle Tennessee where he practices primarily criminal defense and family law. Sean’s criminal experience lies in the realm of DUI, drug offenses, domestic violence, burglary, theft, assault, and battery. Sean’s civil experience includes orders of protection, child custody and family disputes, divorce and post-divorce litigation. Sean also has extensive experience handling contract and business disputes, estate planning, and personal injury matters.

In his free time, Sean enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, attending concerts, and cheering on the Carolina Gamecocks on Saturdays.
